Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical CAD Draughtsman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various mechanical systems and components. You will work closely with our design and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the drafting process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and models for mechanical systems and components using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Make necessary adjustments and modifications to drawings as per project requirements.
- Ensure all drawings and models comply with company and industry standards.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CAD technology.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and documentation.
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments and team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mechanical CAD Draughtsman.
- Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
